Feature List

Crownpeak is excited to launch the first phase of its new user interface, V3. This new User Interface (UI) marks a return to browser based technologies, and an alternative to the Silverlight used in the Vote UI. We are using all of the latest frameworks like HTML5, Angular and Bootstrap and have made some updates to the way the system works to help make managing your content easier than before.

Authentication Basic Authentication This feature allows users to access the CMS via a username and password combination. 
Authentication Federated Authentication This feature allows users to access the CMS via a Federated Authentication Identity Provider (IP) method.
Content Discovery Quick Search The Quick Search feature allows users to find Assets in the CMS by entering a number value or string. The search feature will present results based on asset id, label, or template name.
Content Discovery Intuitive Navigation This version of the CMS has an updated navigation designed to be intuitive for content discovery and content management. 
Content Discovery DAM View Panel The Digital Asset Management (DAM) view presents assets in the CMS as images that can be searched, sorted, and edited. Users can also manage binary assets independent of the File View. 
Content Discovery File View Panel The FIle View in the CMS to allow users to locate and select assets for editing, publishing etc.
Content Discovery Active Files This feature is a File View option that limits the asset list to non-hidden assets.  This is the default view for the File View panel.
Content Discovery Hidden Files This feature is a File View option that presents a File View list of hidden assets.
Content Discovery Deleted Files This feature is a File View option that presents a File View list of recently deleted assets.
Content Editing Web Page Preview This feature allows users to preview an asset page in the CMS prior to publishing in the CMS hosting environment. 
Content Editing Preview Asset  This feature allows users to preview an asset page in the CMS prior to publishing in the CMS hosting environment. 
Content Editing Cut Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Cut" the asset to the clipboard.
Content Editing Copy Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Copy" the asset to the clipboard.
Content Editing Paste Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Paste" an asset to the clipboard.
Content Editing Delete Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Delete" an asset in the CMS.
Content Editing Information View The Information View is a panel that provides basic information about the selected asset.
Content Editing Thumbnail View The Thumbnail View is a panel that provides a full size preview of the currently selected asset.
Content Editing Form Editing Mode The Form Editing Mode allows users to edit visual content and non-visual content such as meta tags in a structure format.  
Content Editing Inline Editing Mode The Inline Editing Mode allows users to edit visual content from within the Preview display format. In this mode, text fields, WYSIWYG fields, and image controls can be edited right on the page.
Content Editing Output View Selector This feature allows users to choose alternate outputs formats to preview such as a mobile view, XML view, RSS view, etc .
Content Editing WYSIWYG Editor The What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) field is used in both the Form View and Inline editing modes.
Content Editing Keyboard Shortcuts Keyboard Shortcuts are available for all of the common tasks in the CMS.
Content Management Projects & Sites This feature allows "Administrators" to organized sets of web pages into Sites allowing different teams of "Developers" to work in the same CMS instance. Sites can also be segmented into Projects which allows a team of developers to work on separate updates at the same time.
Content Management Content Models This feature allows "Authors" to create new folders and pages assets based on a set of predefined structures. "Models" are the primary recommended way for authors to create new assets in the CMS.
Content Management Hide & Unhide Assets These features allows users to "Hide" or "UnHide" an asset in the CMS.
Content Management Notification panel This feature presents important system messages and notifications. The notification alerts can be viewed as a badge in the top corner the application.
Content Management Copy Path Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Copy" the asset path to the clipboard.
Content Management Clone Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Clone" the currently selected asset1.
Content Management Rename Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Rename" an asset in the CMS.
Content Management Branch Menu Options This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Branch" an asset in the CMS.
Content Management Flag Menu Option This feature is a File View option that allows users to "Flag" an asset in the CMS.
Customer Support  Contact Support This feature presents a contact form that will be sent to crownpeak customer support.
Digital Asset Management File & Image Picker This feature allows user to select or upload images or links to other CMS assets.
Dynamic Content Management Targeting Group View The Targeting Group View is a panel that allows users to view the snippet and variant combinations that correspond to each of the dynamic content targeting groups.
Dynamic Content Management Targeting Group Editor The Targeting Group Editor is a tool that allows users to define the details of a dynamic content targeting group.
Dynamic Content Management Reporting Panel The Report Panel allows users to view the website activities for the published asset pages.
Dynamic Content Management Form Builder Tools The Form Builder tool allows users to create custom forms on their web pages.
Multi Site Management Language Selector This feature allows users to choose other language versions of the page to view. This switches the preview asset to the one for the chosen language.
Page Design & Management Responsive Screen Selector This feature allows users to choose a target screen size to preview an asset such as landscape, portrait, mobile, and others.
Responsive Design Panel Based UI The new "Panel" based UI allows users to create a custom workspace from a collection of tools designed for Authors, Developers, and Administrators in the CMS.
Responsive Design Multiple Document Interface This feature allows users to open several assets in separate window selectable as a collection of tabs at the top of the center canvas. The new feature allows authora to work in several assets at the same time.
Workflow Management Workflow Selection This feature allows users to move an asset through the Workflow associated with the selected asset.
